Book in the Park

Why in the world would three New York City public school teachers want to spend their precious, blissful summer hours standing in a park, harassing strangers for impromptu book reports? Here are some of our perfectly rational reasons: We have nothing better to do with all this free time. We miss grading book reports.We need an excuse to spend a day in the park.We need an excuse to talk to our fellow New Yorkers. We are trying to create the best "must-read" book list of all time.
